The Startup Lab Pitch Competition, an exciting feature at our annual user conference, GS1 Connect®, presents 8 startup organizations pursuing disruptive technology innovations that have the potential to leverage GS1 Standards and help create value for our members, solution providers, and partners.

The application window for our 2022 competition is now closed. Stay tuned! The 2022 Finalists will be announced in March 2022, and the competition will air on June 1, with the winner announcement on-site at GS1 Connect 2022 in San Diego.

Finalist companies were encouraged to develop their ideas and exercise their skills in creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurship at this year’s event including participation in the full roster of events, interactive demonstrations for conference attendees, and must engage in the full pitch competition. Through this collaborative experience, participants can help secure connections, create awareness, and gain credibility with approximately 1,000+ conference attendees ranging from industries including apparel, consumer packaged goods, general merchandise, healthcare, retail grocery, online marketplaces, and food organizations.
